Sipping Hot Chocolate Pudding

Sipping Hot Chocolate Pudding

Today Amy and our friend Josh went to the Perugia Chocolate Festival, in said Perugia. (Perugia is known for their chocolate.) After the two hour train ride, we arrived in a beautiful little city, similar to Orvieto, but larger. We embarked on a quest for chocolate aboard the “Choco-train.” The place was packed with people! And chocolate was EVERYWHERE! We got our choco-card and set out to find all the places we could get our free sample of chocolate. We sampled everything from Lindt to Ciobar, which is a warm chocolate pudding that is delicious! There was even a pear-chocolate juice drink that came in a sort of juice box. I was really skeptical at first, but it was actually quite delicious. I mean, you wouldn’t want to drink it all day, but if you were just sipping it, it wasn’t so bad. We also got a cellphone case, with a chocolate “iPhone” inside. It was funny.

After our fill of chocolate, we head back down the hill aboard the choco-train and bought our tickets for the train home. With time to spare, we enjoyed a relaxing dinner at a little trattoria across the street; I had a yummy gnocchi. After coming home, we crashed from the sugar high and fun from the day. Yum-o chocolate!
