Movie Night

So after school today there was a movie showing of this movie called “Agora.” It was about a female scientist and philosopher in Alexandria Egypt. It was really interesting to watch, sad, but also thought provoking. Afterwards, I stayed and worked on some school stuff before Laura and Jake persuaded me to go to karaoke night at the Lion’s Fountain. It was fun, although I don’t think I was drunk enough (nor would I want to be) to enjoy it as much as everyone else. I’m a party pooper like that. It was nice though that I didn’t have to pay for anything. The first shot was on the house (and Laura toasted it to me which made me happy) and the second one (hours later) was bought by a friend from school (it was peach vodka and something else and actually tasted decent — for a shot). I’m sure my parents are glad to hear all these things that I’m doing; it’s pretty out of character for me, but I’ll let them know that I’m being responsible, and NEVER drink more than I should — just enough to make it feel like my eyeballs spin.
